Burrito Loco Bar & Grill in Minneapolis

Not what I was looking for. Food was. Well put it this way I left still hungry. Good place for the kids going to school. Great beer prices. That's not what I was looking for though. Won't be able to get my self to even give it a second chance. Sorry.

Every once in awhile I'm in the mood for this place and unfortunately always come away feeling the same: it's alright. I really like the amount of customization options, I like that I can get my nacho toppings in a separate container from my chips in a to go order so nothing's soggy but time and time again I'm never satisfied with ny Neal. The flavor just isn't there to me, but it's a decent spot if you live nearby.

Kind of on the pricey side but good food and friendly staff. In the heart of dinky town so in with the college crowd.

Draft beer tastes like vinegar. Clean the tap lines. When I asked the server said they have told the management multiple times and gave me a free bottle beer.

Folks, B Loco is the best bar in Dinkytown. That’s not saying much since there are only like 3 left, but I digress. Their daily food specials will keep you wanting to come back and try out the full scope of their offerings. The bartenders are friendly and sometimes quite generous. The atmosphere is very much a college town bar, but with none of the pretentiousness. Come for the wings and beer, stay for the beer pong and touchtunes.

Went for Karaoke with a group of friends. Was “cancelled” but it was advertised on their website! Pathetic!

Chicken burrito bowl was pretty bad and dude grabbed everything with his hands instead of using the provided utencils

This was an exceptional experience. The breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing. Loved the decor.

New management decided to get rid of the breakfeast menu. Heart broken. Our group of friends loved coming here. A couple bloodies and a breakfeast chmichanga. So many good memories. All gone. Good luck, wont be coming back again.

Astounding deals and astounding staff

Once upon a time this was my favorite place to eat. But something has happened...maybe new management, maybe I just came on an off day. I had a bowl, but it wasn’t very tasty and was strangely very watery. Best part was the queso, that is still salty and cheesy and delicious with the crunchy fluffy tortilla chips. Staff was nice but didn’t seem too excited, didn’t feel like it was one of those places I’d go back because the staff was fantastic. You know the place. But again, maybe an off day? I’ll have to return next time I’m in the area and give it another shot. I used to go in college (15 years ago) often and loved it. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Best drink prices in town, best environment if you're looking for something more than just to have casual conversation. Food is phenomenal and it's open late, and the staff is excellent. I'm a little older then the college scene but I still consider this one of my favorite bars because the people, the wonderful owner, and the amazing environment

The wings are always at least good, sometimes they are PERFECTION, Perfection meaning buttery, crispy, decent sized wing, and great flavor, sometimes they only hit 2 of the 4, sometimes they knock it out of the park and you get all 4 thing! It is THE Only restaurant that I repeatedly visit. Fajitas Friday Nights are Bomb!!! Some of the staff is AWESOME!!! Burritos are always a good thing. This will be the only place I miss when I move from MN.

You know what is really "loco"? The banner out front said DRİNK FOR FREE THE TUESDAY AFTER YOUR BİRTHDAY, but only after we were sat were we told that you need to bring FİVE FRİENDS to get the deal. At that point, their drink expenditures would MORE than cover the cost of my "free" drinks. We also were not informed that there is a charge for using a card. I wonder how much money they've made off that alone. College kids aren't walking around with pockets stuffed with cash. We stayed for the taco and margarita deal, and neither was impressive. İf you're that close, just go to Maya or Taco Riendo. This place is a joke.

2 dollar drinks on Tuesday was totally awesome. Live DJ and great atmosphere on a otherwise dead night elsewhere. Great food, unbeatable local burrito. Cool upstairs area with pong and outdoor patio seating in the front. Totally sweet place to go to.

Good deals. Open early, closes late. A good place to start for long, loud nights. Also 20 cent wings on Wednesday from 4pm to 5 or 6, then they go up 10 cents till 8 where they cap at 50 cents. Cheap beer with clean taps.

I really can’t get enough of this place. Their burritos are all I think about all day. Vegetarian options are great.

Quesadillas was good and priced well. I paid $3 for chips and salsa and was devastated by the handful of chips I recieved.

It was like Chipotle, except without the long line and being overwhelmed with people. Decent food. Necessary to mention the weird smell in the men's bathroom.

This place is one of the better college establishments. Is it refined? No. You wouldn't want it to be. But it has great weeknight specials, buffalo chicken burritos, and free chips and salsa with entree purchase. And they are open late. Sometimes they do dancing upstairs, and could benefit from maybe doing a salsa night. But it's great for what it is.

If your looking for a spot to get your drink on and munch on some delicious Mexican food; Burrito Loco is the SPOT. Awesome drink specials. Let's not forget about all you can drink birthday Tuesdays!

Their taps are always warm and flat, the blonde tall guy doesn't make good drinks and is rude and doesn't know how to do the nightly specials right and will rip you off then argue about it.

Forgot to include the queso/extra tortilla, terrible customer service, and sadly I never review restaurants however I felt compelled to let everyone know YOU’RE NOT MISSING OUT AND THIS PLACE TASTE LIKE TRASH. If I could rate this place 0 I would :/

Great spot on campus to hang out, have a few beers, and watch some football.

Ordered delivery, food was extremely bland and mostly just rice, I had the fajita burrito. Not only did I pay a lot because of the delivery service(not the restaurants fault) but the food was unbelievably bland literally tasted like eating a tortilla with plane rice.Disappointing as in the past the food was good. Ended up being a waste of money.

Ordered thru Foodsby (delivery). Got the veggie burrito & hot salsa. This was not a $10 burrito or order. Salsa (2oz container) & small bag of salt-less, broken chips were disappointing. Salsa tasted like tomato sauce/paste, had very little flavor and wasn't remotely "hot." Burrito was mostly rice, with a little bean, a little peppers, and lots of onion. Flavor was bland. I would have spiced it up with more add-ons but each one is charged separately/extra and not at all reasonable in price. I'd give this Burrito Loco a MEH, and won't order from them again. Seems to me there are other reviews similar to mine posted here. They have gotten replies from the restaurant, but judging by my order experience, nothing is being done to change the blandness and overpricing.

The food is great. I ordered a margarita along with my meal and it tasted like lemonade so I had to order another $4 shot to add to it(but it was a special so I didn't expect anything more). The service was a little slow in the beginning but got better after she came to take my order.
